What is the recommended age for kids to sit on Santa's lap at a mall?

Anyone can sit with Santa Claus, from infants to adults. The most important thing is to make sure they are happy about it and comfortable. If a child is nervous about it and doesn't want to, that is okay. There is no need to force them. They will do it another year, when they are ready.
