You write and call each other as often as possible. Send pictures of things going on in each others life so the other person can feel like they are there. Keep a box with other tokens in it for each other so when you do see each other again, it will show how much you thought of one another.

My husband and I (before we were married) had a short period of time (about 7 months) where we lived several hours apart. It was really difficult, but we knew there was a light at the tunnel and that we would be together soon. Our late night phone calls kept me going. I also wrote love notes often, because writing down how I felt kept my love for him from fading when I was alone. Good luck with your relationship, I know it's rough. :-)

I went through the same thing. I was with a guy for a year he lives in London, Ontario and i live in Toronto,Ontario, it's two hours away and we were young 16 at the time. But i can honestly tell you this i did love him and you're probably asking how did you know what love was? well i still love him now even though we're not together it's been four years and i honestly still feel the same way. But the answer to your question is, you have to be patient and take time, plan to see each other on days so that you see each other as often as possible, call each other, I'm not saying EVERY night but every other night and sending cute texts help, i loved those lol. But if you two really do love each other and you're at an age where you know you DO love them then it will last believe me.
