How do Nitro RC Cars work?

Good quallity RC cars have 5 main components. The motor(if you don't know what that does then that's sad), servo ( turns the wheels), Speed controller ( cotrolles the speed), reciver( gets all the commands from the controller and finally the transmitter( the controller). But of cousre if you bye some cheap thing , it will be the exact sam but with everything merged into one. oh and I forgot to say the bettery.
