Why did many Americans move to the suburbs after world War ll?

After World War II, many Americans moved to the suburbs due to a combination of factors, including the availability of affordable housing, the desire for a better quality of life, and the growth of the automobile culture which made commuting feasible. The GI Bill also provided veterans with benefits that facilitated home buying.
