How do you get black perm marker off dark leather chair?

Try Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Not just for hair... I don't know if this works on leather or not, but I've used hairspray to remove permanent black marker from a crushed velvet sofa. (I wonder if it's the alcohol in it?)
