Britain remained a staunch opponent of Napoleon throughout the Napoleonic Wars, while the Ottoman Empire maintained its independence despite pressures. Additionally, Sweden, although it had alliances with France at times, ultimately remained outside of Napoleon's direct control. Other regions in Eastern Europe, such as Russia at certain points, also resisted Napoleon's influence.
