Where do myths legend come from?

As with legends, a myth will often greatly exaggerate the deeds of a person or the trouble a supernatural being is about to get into in order to better illustrate a specific point or lesson . Myths, like legends, are usually traditional stories of people, groups of people, places, events, supernatural beings, occurrences, etc. . Myths are not typically historically based.

Legends are usually about a person or groups of people, events, places, and like folklore often are about the supernatural. Legends were used to "inspire and teach". Legends have an oral AND a written tradition.
