This resembles a question I answered a few minutes ago, about eating Apples to lose weight. Oats are a food that is high in fiber. An all oat diet would result in diarrhea. Oats are a healthful part of a diet as long as you do not overdo it. Eat a varied diet, but eat a smaller amount, if you wish to lose weight.
