What did the Columbian exchange take from the Americas and what did it bring?

Columbian exchange took tomatoes, corn and potatoes from the america to Europe, Africa and Asia. It brings the goodly and friendly relationship between them, but deadly illnesses moved to the america and killed large amount of native american population.
