Where do you put gear oil in a kawasaki zrx 1100?

I owned a 2001 ZRX-1200 and it did not require gear oil. On most current, chain drive, motorcycles the transmission and engine share the same oil. This is the reason that there is so much debate about using automotive oils in motorcycles because the motorcycle is generally harder on oil than a car. This is due to the added work it has to do to lubricate the clutch plates and transmission gears. That being said, the best policy is to change the oil according to manufacturers recommendation and make sure you have the proper amount in the bike. Hope that helps
