Is it worth the cost and maintenance to have a pool in Florida?

A pool is like having a child

They are expensive to have, they're expensive to feed and keep clean, you can't leave them alone for more than three days at a time, and the only way to get rid of them is to move. If you can get past that than I think the answer is an unqualified yes. I wouldn't be without one. Don't expect it to add one dollar to the worth of your home though.
