How can technology be helpful and harmful?

Technology is both Helpful, and Destructive. It is very helpful for mankind because everyone uses it. It can be used for Engineering, Science, Math and many other subjects. But on the other hand, Facebook, MySpace, and other websites like that can be destructive, If not used the right way.
