You can try a slightly larger carburetor. If you do make sure it is just a little bigger. Otherwise you will find it difficult to keep it on idle while it is running. If it is newer, their might be larger pistons available for it as well. ((((((((((((((You can go less expensive and simply drill holes in the bottom of the exhaust housing and lower the back pressure giving a slight hp increase and lower fuel cost...you can also jet up the carb/carbs by ordering the larger jets for your particular carb like a 25 becomes a 30 it's hard to get more than a 5 hp increase without major work and expense and not for the diyer...I did my cousins for a b'day gift and he is amazed...weight distribution in your boat can hurt performance so try different things with that...keeping your prop in top condition is also near the top to maximize performance and making sure it's the right one is important bends chips and cracks are a no no...and last clean and shiny hulls go through the water easier...less resistance is better...thanx for listening...al borden)))))))))))) Carb jets are available from marine engine.com boats.net iboats.com.....remember one jet for air one jet for fuel you'll need the carb part number
