What colour is earth?

Generally, earth is brown. Seen from space, "the Earth" looks blue because 70% of the Earth's surface is covered with the oceans. However, the color of the ground itself varies from the blackest black loam, through marine-tinged greens, to golden and /or white sands, all the way to a chalky white.
