The country with the largest population of Muslims is Indonesia with about 202 million followed by Pakistan with about 174 million and then India with 160 million. In total, Muslims make up of about 1.5 billion people according to the Pew Research Center of 2009. Bangladesh is not too far behind with a Muslim population of 145 million.
