What government department does FEMA fall under?

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) falls under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). It was transferred to DHS in 2003 when the department was created as part of a reorganization of federal agencies to better coordinate national security and emergency response efforts. FEMA is responsible for coordinating the federal government's response to natural and man-made disasters.
