Hmm, I'm guessing that you mean "what Words do you use to describe the sound of tv static?"

This all depends on the person and can even depend on what you're writing about. Are you describing the TV as an engineer or audio specialist? Are you writing something dramatic? A poem?

I'll try to give some examples, keep in mind I'm not an English teacher or anything, and I was never very good in my English classes.

"The TV static sounds like being in the middle of a sandstorm."

"A screeching and hissing sound came from the big TV."

Or perhaps something a little different:

"The TV lost the signal and the noisy snow appeared on the screen."

"The TV signal came in so badly that everything looked like a snow storm, and we could only hear loud white noise."

Hope this helps. or if you'd like an onomatopoeia you could try something along the lines of 'tschhhhhhhhhhhhhh....'
