The Anadolu is a very typical Turkish horse. There are around 930,000 of them living in Turkey. It ranges from 12hh to around 14 hh.

They are a very hardy, strong, small breed which can live in tough conditions. They have very tough feet which require no shoes.

They can survive on little food and are used as riding horses and for farm work.
