How do you make runes in RuneScape?

Two ways -

(First way) Requires 100k for marginal profit.

1. Buy a talisman of the rune you want to craft

2. Go to the Grand Exhange and buy rune essence (LOTS OF IT)

3. Click the talisman and it will give a direction that the altar is in. Follow its directions and eventually find a stack of stone.

4. Click "Use" on the talisman and then click the stones

5. Walk to the center of the new place and click the altar

6. The rune ess turnes into runes.

(Second way) Requires pickaxe, rune mysteries complete.

1. Buy a talisman of the rune you want to craft

2. Go to the rune shop in varrack and click "Teleport" on Arbury the rune shop manager. This will teleport you to a different terrain in which you can mine "Rune Essence"

3. Click the talisman and it will give a direction that the altar is in. Follow its directions and eventually find a stack of stone.

4. Click "Use" on the talisman and then click the stones

5. Walk to the center of the new place and click the altar

6. The rune ess turnes into runes.

(You can also use Tiaras in place of the Talisman)
