No. Subaru is a Japanese automaker. They are the automotive division of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. They do, however, have vehicles that are produced outside of Japan in Lafayette Indiana (Legacy, Outback, Tribeca) but all the parts are Japanese. The other manufacturing facility is in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. The engines are all produced in one factory at the Ota plant, and the vehicles are assembled in two separate buildings or in the Subaru of Indiana plant.
