How did Thomas Nelson Jr. die?

Thomas Nelson Baker Jr. (1738-1789) died of an undisclosed illness. A signer of the Declaration of Independence, a chronic illness forced him to resign from the Continental Congress in 1776. During the Revolutionary War, he served a brief term of 6 months as Virginia's fourth state governor.
