How much do i feed a basset hound puppy?

To drink, yes. To swim in, mine doesn't.

To add to your answer, I took my basset hound to the lake last weekend and he LOVED the water, only wading in it though, he would wade out up to his chest and stand there, then run out and repeat it all over again. It was really fun to watch.
