Why does tich miller die?

Tich Miller died because she couldn't handle the pressure. She is very lonely just like Wendy cope, however wendy had the strength and was able to save her own back unlike Tich. Tich was very weak and she was not able to overtime her humiliation made by bullies. As a result the only solution she had left was to commit suicide.
