If you get sick and develop a fever late in your pregnancy will it harm the baby?

Call your OB immediately. They should determine the cause as it could be nothing bad or something really serious, which will require blood and urine tests. Taking Tylenol will reduce the fever and might make it seem like less of a problem, but the problem is still there. Do not self medicate. Get it checked out.
