How to remove the write protection in MP3 files you can't delete it it saying that it use by another application but programs are not working?

Push ctrl+alt+delete on your keyboard to bring up Windows Task Manager. Check application's to see if your media player is listed there (for example if you were running Winamp, look for winamp in the applications). If there is nothing listed there check the processes tab for the name of your media player + ".exe". If you find it right click and click end process. If you either can't find it in that list or it does not shut down then keep the window open and follow these tasks: First know where the file is located (right it down). You can do this by right clicking it and going to properties, copy down the "c:\...\...\filename" location. From Windows task manager click 'file' at the top left and click run. It should bring up a black dos program. Click the Windows Task Manager again and go to explorer.exe and end process. This should shut down whatever file is being run. Switch to the black dos program and type "del c:\...\...\filename". This should bring up a prompt where it will ask you if you are sure. If you are positive this is the right file then go ahead with the deletion. If it gives you an error then ask another question regarding booting into the dos system before Windows comes up. If it does delete it (and it should except on rare occasions) then type in "Windows" and it should bring back up explorer and you will be all set. Hope this works and it should work for any file that refuses to be deleted because its in use.
