Which Smart TV has latest apps and can play mkv files?

Smart TV is a fast moving technology at present. Most major manufacturers have apps for MKV files.

Not all LG TV's will play MKV files. Sme older models could play the video, but did not have any audio. Televisions from Samsung and Sony play these files as well.
