Why is car insurance so high on the Chevrolet Tracker?

Car insurance standards per vehicle is normally based on the vehicles crash ratings, gas consumption, retail price at the time, and body style. The Chevrolet Tracker has a very low crash test rating. And thus, very high insurance premiums. The same can be said for cars like the Dodge Neon.
