What type of curlers do you use for the ends of kinky twists?

Most often, jheri curl rods are used to curl the ends of kinky twists. They are wrapped around the ends, then dipped in a cup of boiled water to set the curls. Allow the rods to set in the cup for about one minute, then remove them after towel blotting and setting for five minutes. The curls will last through one to three shampoos before they need to be refreshed. Also plastic magnetic rollers can be used and dipped to make larger curls at the ends.
