Are ski bibs or ski pants better?

I personally prefer bibs because I find when I use pants they fall down a little bit and when I snowboard I tend to get tons of snow in them because the falling pulls them down more and snow gets in your pants. It also depends on the quality, however. A cheap ski bib would be worse than a quality, ski specific pant. Person preference is also a major factor.
