Yes, compostable material can be recycled. By definition, it falls into the category of carbon- or nitrogen-rich in content and therefore lends itself to re-use in its current form (such as canes or furnishings in the case of compostable tree branches and trunks) or another (such as humus, at the end of the composting process).
