How could it be possible for a mountain range to be continually pushed up but not get any higher?

Contradicting forces could make it possible for a mountain range to be continually pushed up but not get any higher. It could be continually pushed up while at the same time experiencing an equal amount of wind erosion resulting in it staying at the same level.
