Can anyone visit a Marine base Or you need a special permit or be a Marine?

In most cases there is not a problem visiting a Marine Base as a guest. There are often open houses held, typically on a Saturday or Sunday that are open to the public. The gate guards will wave you over to the base gate building where you will state your business. They will issue a temporary permit or tell you when you can visit.
