When replacing a th350 transmission with a 700r4 transmission what adjustments have to be made to the console shifter?

Your shifter will line up pretty good . Adjust your linkage so that the "N" lines up with the shifter while the trans is in neutral. You will have an extra forward position so it might be a bit tight grabbing low but it'll work. The important thing is to have park and reverse in the correct spot for safety reasons.
