Why does it hover when you put a ping- pong ball on top of a hairdryer?

When you place a ping-pong ball on top of a hairdryer, the fast-moving air from the hairdryer creates a stream of low pressure around the ball. This pressure difference causes the ball to be pushed upward, allowing it to hover in the airstream.
