What do you call a person who keep their emotions bottled up inside?

well my op-ion is that there scared,

because my other half. he never shows his emotions and it angers me!

and i feel like he's afraid to show his emotions because he feels like it will take over

him, or get the feelings hes never felt before.. :/ so i suppose afraid..
