Dr Carmen C Velasquez

Dr. Carmen C. Velasquez is a Filipino scientist who is most famously known as the one who pioneered studies of tropical fish parasitology. She has discovered 32 species and a genus of digenetic trematodes in 13 families from Philippine fishes used as food.
