On what day do people vote for president?

The electors are appointed on the day after the first Monday of November based on the public voting that takes place or culminates that day. The electors then vote for President and Vice President on the Monday after the second Tuesday of December. Those votes are counted on the following January 6 by a joint session of Congress overseen by the Vice President.
