Please STOP referring your UK Passport as Hong Kong BNO.

British National (Overseas) was added to Annex II (VISA EXEMPTED) to all Schengen States effective early 2007.

As per COUNCIL REGULATION (EC) No 1932/2006 of 21 December 2006 signed by President J. KORKEAOJA in Brussels.

Slovenia is no longer having border control as per Schengen Agreement:

In most cases, within the EU (Other than UK), British National (Overseas) are usually to be treated as British Citizen for the purpose of border control.
