What are salaries like on cruise ships?

International cruise ships pay International wages. Remembering that your wages include medical care, food and accommodations, you can save a lot of money in addition to your wages. There are three departments onboard - Catering, Deck and Engine. The technical department (D & E) pay wages depending on licenses and cerifications. Salaries start around $1,000/month and go way up from there. Catering departments can start around $700/month for rank & file positions and Hotel Directors can make as much as several thousand a month on some lines.
