What do vampires have to avoid?

It really depends on which myths you choose to look at. Vampires may have enemies which they hate such a werewolves (another mythological belief). Their natural enemies however, such as things which would cause harm, are many and diverse, depending on which culture you focus upon. Some would suggest that they hate sunlight (or rather UV radiation), silver, wooden stakes, garlic and holy objects (such a crucifixes).
