Why did Saint Anne become a saint?

because she was the mother of Mary and grandmother of Jesus.
Anne was allowed to conceive Mary who was to be the mother of Our Lord. She was an ideal mother and wife who cared dearly for her family and was faithful to her Jewish religion.
