Yes, the timing chain adjusters and water pump impeller are both plastic and will need replaced. The control arm bushings will need replaced often. The OEM power top fluid will need replaced with new improved type and change your break fluid every two years to avoid costly ABS repairs. The motor could fail from Nicasil block if high sulfur gas has been used and many electronic gremlins my show up, ie, power seats, Windows, mirror's stereo and tail lights. The self dimming rear view mirror my leak oil and need replaced with new gel model. They are a great car and a blast to own/drive, they just can be expensive.
