Who gets firearms when someone dies?

Whoever. Most firearms are treated like any other property. Whoever would inherit the person's other property would also inherit the firearm as long as that person can legally own the firearm. There are some exceptions to that for NFA/Class 3 stuff like machine guns and silencers.
