Where is an ex cilicio relic from?

Ex cilicio means 'from the hair shirt' which were worn by many saints as penance. They were woven of coarse animal hair and were quite uncomfortable to wear. Some were made of metal links and other materials meant to inflict pain on the wearer as a method of mortification and penance.
