The two starting pitchers for the first game at Enron field was, Yankees Pitcher and 7 Cy young winner Roger Clemens who faced against the Astros Dwight Gooden. It was some what of a rematch of the 1986 All-Star game in Houston in which the two hurlers faced each other.
