Where is the pollen filter on Saab 9-3?

Lift the bonnet/hood. Carefully remove the plastic cover below the windscreen removing the rubber seal to about half way. Lift the passenger side only. No need to remove the windscreen wipers. Once lifted you will be able to see the filter. There are 2 plastic clips at the top of the filter. One each side at the top. Flip those upwards and the filter will pull out. This also allows access to the top of the air conditioning fan.
