How do you remove red that has faded onto white fabric when washed?

Mix 1/4 cup of bleach, 1/4 cup of dishwasher liquid (ie. Cascade) into hot water in a bowl or a bucket. Make sure it is thoroughly mixed. Put the fabric into the mix for no more than 15 minutes. Then, wash as usual. The red should be gone.
