For reciprocals , place the given number under '1'.

Hence

'2' ; reciprocal is '1/2' .

'1/2' ; reciprocal is 1/(1/2) , which reduces back to '2'.

Simiarly another other number (n).

n ; reciprocal is 1/n

'1/n' is reciprocated as 1/(1/n) which reduces to 'n'.
