What is the difference between 'Knowing God' and 'Knowing of God'?

The Scriptures mentions that the people of Israel knew about God while Moses knew God. This Word knowing as it's used in this passage speaks that there was a personal, close, face to face intimate relationship (Dt. 34:10), not different that the one between husband and wife, as to Adam knew Eve (Gen. 4-1 KJ) Many speak about God and can quote chapter and verse, but the eyes of the Lord are looking all throughout the land searching for those who will worship in spirit and in truth in the intimacy of their privacy, not to reach the multitudes but to touch the heart of God, in turn He Will heal the land.
