Kirk Fordice (born February 10, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee; died September 7, 2004 in Jackson, Mississippi) succeeded Ray Mabus as the sixty-first Governor of Mississippi, serving between January 14, 1992 and January 11, 2000, including the whole of 1994.
